Pork Vindaloo
Ingredients
- • 200g Pork belly, cut into 1-inch pieces
- • 1 tbsp Vindaloo paste
- • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
- • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- • 1 tbsp Vinegar
- • 1 tbsp Oil
- • 100 ml Water
- • Salt to taste
Cooking Steps

Marinate pork with vindaloo paste, turmeric, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and vinegar for at least 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, let them splutter.

Add marinated pork and sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned.

Add water and salt.

Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles on medium heat.

Let the pressure release naturally. Open and simmer for 5 minutes if the gravy is too thin.
