No. The Vision Inventory engine is programmed to identify only line items (ingredients and quantities). It ignores and discards sensitive financial information like credit card numbers or bank details during the scanning process.

How do I invite my family to my kitchen?

Inside the app, go to Profile Menu > Family & Friends. You can generate a unique 'Household Code' to send via WhatsApp. Once your family members enter the code, they will see the same real-time inventory & shopping list. The family can also add items to the list based on their interest and can mark off any item if they buy items for the list. It will also display the confirmed meal plans, based on which you can confirm if you will be available dining or skipping.

You can view your current inventory and grocery list offline. However, to scan receipts, generate AI recipes, or sync data with family members, an active internet connection is required to communicate with our secure servers.

For the existing modes, beetroot will automatically filter out recipes and ingredients that don't match your lifestyle, ensuring your bitroot Menu is always relevant.

You can always use the 'Quick Add' feature to manually input any item. Our AI learns from these entries, so the more you use it, the smarter your specific kitchen becomes.

bitroot creates your list in two ways:Automatic: When your pantry stock falls below a certain level, the app adds it to the list | Recipe-Driven: If you select a recipe you want to cook, Bitroot compares the ingredients needed against your current stock and adds only the missing items to your list. | Manual: You / household members can also add their items manually and will be stored with their name tag to identify who had requested an item
