Trinidadian Saltfish Buljol Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Salt-cured Cod
  • 200 g (2 units) Tomato
  • 100 g (1 unit) Red Onion
  • 1 tsp (2 units) Scotch Bonnet Pepper
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Lime Juice

Cooking Steps

Boil cod in pressure cooker for 15 minutes to desalt.

Drain water and shred fish into fine flakes.

Finely dice tomatoes, onions, and scotch bonnet peppers.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
