Tamil-Style Spicy Chicken Kuzhambu
Ingredients
- • 500 g Chicken pieces
- • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- • 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- • 2 tsp Red chili powder
- • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 50 g Grated coconut
- • 100 ml Water
Cooking Steps

Blend grated coconut with fennel seeds and a little water into a smooth paste using the blender.

Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.

Add chicken, chili powder, and turmeric; sear for 3 minutes.

Add coconut paste and 100 ml water; cover and pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.

Release pressure, stir well, and serve hot.
