Tamil-Style Spicy Chicken Curry (Kozhi Kuzhambu)
Ingredients
- • 400 g chicken pieces
- • 2 tbsp coconut oil
- • 1 tsp mustard seeds
- • 10 curry leaves
- • 150 g onion, finely chopped
- • 100 g tomato, chopped
- • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- • 1 tsp turmeric powder
- • 2 tbsp coriander powder
- • 1 tbsp red chili powder
- • 200 ml water
Cooking Steps

Heat oil in pressure cooker, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Sauté onions until translucent, add ginger garlic paste, then tomatoes.

Add turmeric, coriander, and chili powder; cook until oil separates.

Add chicken and water, seal pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.

Release pressure and simmer for 2 mins before serving.
