Rajasthani Ker Sangri (Dried Desert Berry and Bean Curry)
Ingredients
- • 150 g Ker berries
- • 150 g Sangri beans
- • 50 ml Mustard oil
- • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 2 tbsp Red chili powder
- • 30 g (2 tbsp) Dried mango powder (Amchur)
- • 250 ml Water
Cooking Steps

Soak Ker and Sangri in water for 12 hours, then drain.

Pressure cook the soaked Ker and Sangri with 250 ml water for 4 whistles until soft.

Heat mustard oil in a pan until smoking, then add mustard seeds.

Add the drained berries and beans, stirring in turmeric, chili powder, and salt to taste.

Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, finish with dried mango powder, and serve.
