Quick Lemon Rice

Ingredients

  • 300 g (1.5 cups) Basmati Rice
  • 500 ml (2 cups) Water
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp (1 pinch) Turmeric powder
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (1 tsp) Salt

Cooking Steps

Add washed rice, water, and salt to the pressure cooker.

Cook for 2 whistles on medium heat.

In a small pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds and turmeric.

Pour tempering over rice, add lemon juice, and mix gently.
