Pan-Seared Mutton Chops with Herb Butter

Ingredients

  • 400 g Mutton loin chops
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 0.5 tsp Sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Cooking Steps

Pat mutton chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat a heavy skillet over high heat on the stove.

Sear chops for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Reduce heat to medium, add butter, rosemary, and garlic to the pan.

Baste the chops with the melted herb butter for 2 minutes and let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
