Nellore Kodi Pulusu
Ingredients
- • 800 g Chicken pieces
- • 30 ml Tamarind extract
- • 2 tbsp Red chili powder
- • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 2 sprigs Curry leaves
- • 100 g Sliced onions
- • 50 ml Groundnut oil
Cooking Steps

Heat oil in a pressure cooker, sauté onions and curry leaves until golden.

Add ginger garlic paste, chicken, turmeric, and chili powder; cook for 5 minutes.

Pour in tamarind extract and 200 ml water. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Simmer for 5 minutes without lid to thicken gravy before serving.
