Mavinkayi Chitranna (Raw Mango Rice)

Ingredients

  • 200 g Cooked Sona Masuri rice
  • 100 g Grated raw mango
  • 2 tbsp Groundnuts
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Cooking Steps

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, and groundnuts.

Add curry leaves and slit green chilies; sauté until golden.

Add turmeric and grated mango; cook for 3 mins until soft.

Fold in cooked rice and salt; mix gently over low heat for 2 mins.

Spicy Masala Paneer Crumble

Ingredients

  • 200 g Crumbled paneer
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 0.5 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Cooking Steps

Heat oil, add mustard seeds until they pop.

Sauté onions until translucent.

Add spices and paneer; toss on high heat for 3 mins until slightly browned.
