Mamidikaya Pulihora (Andhra Raw Mango Rice)

Ingredients

  • 200 g Basmati rice
  • 100 g Grated raw mango
  • 2 tbsp Peanut oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 5 g Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Green chilies
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder

Cooking Steps

Pressure cook rice with 400 ml water for two whistles.

Heat oil in pan, crackle mustard seeds, chilies, and curry leaves.

Add raw mango and turmeric; sauté for two minutes.

Fold tempered mixture into cooked rice gently.
