Lemon Rice
Ingredients
- • 300 g Rice
- • 500 ml Water
- • 2 tbsp Oil
- • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- • 20 g Peanuts
- • 10 ml Lemon juice
- • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 1 tsp Salt
Cooking Steps

Wash rice and add to pressure cooker with 500 ml water. Cook for 3 whistles.

In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds and peanuts, sauté until crisp.

Add turmeric and salt to the pan, stir, then mix in the cooked rice.

Squeeze lemon juice over the rice and combine well.
