Kovakkai (Ivy Gourd) Pachadi with Roasted Coconut Paste

Ingredients

  • 250 g (10 pieces) Ivy Gourd, sliced
  • 50 g (1/4 cup) Grated Coconut
  • 150 g (150 ml) Thick Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 10 g (1 tbsp) Coconut Oil

Cooking Steps

Sauté sliced ivy gourd in coconut oil until soft.

Blend coconut and mustard seeds into a fine paste.

Combine sautéed gourd with coconut paste.

Stir in yogurt and turmeric.

Warm through gently; do not boil.
