Kothamalli Thokku Sadam (Coriander Rice)

Ingredients

  • 200 g Sona Masuri rice
  • 100 g fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp green chili
  • 5 g ginger
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 5 g urad dal

Cooking Steps

Pressure cook rice with 400 ml water.

Blend coriander, chili, and ginger into paste.

Heat oil, temper urad dal, add paste.

Sauté until raw smell vanishes.

Fold in cooked rice and salt.
