Kothamalli (Coriander) Rasam with Toor Dal infusion
Ingredients
- • 50 g Toor dal
- • 500 ml Water
- • 100 g Fresh coriander leaves
- • 2 tsp Tamarind paste
- • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- • 0.5 tsp Asafoetida
- • 1 tsp Ghee
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook dal with 250 ml water for 3 whistles.

Blend coriander with 50 ml water into a smooth paste.

Boil tamarind paste, 200 ml water, and coriander paste.

Add cooked dal and simmer for five minutes.

Temper mustard seeds and asafoetida in ghee, pour over rasam.
