Kori Gassi (Mangalorean Coconut Chicken)

Ingredients

  • 300 g Chicken thighs cubed
  • 100 ml Fresh coconut milk
  • 10 g Tamarind paste
  • 1 tsp Byadgi chili powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 10 g Coconut oil

Cooking Steps

Sauté aromatics in coconut oil.

Add chicken and cook until opaque.

Stir in chili, turmeric, and tamarind.

Pour coconut milk and simmer until thickened.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 sprigs Fresh curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 pinch Salt

Cooking Steps

Temper mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Add chicken and ginger-garlic paste.

Sauté on high heat until browned.
