Kootu Curry with Yam and Raw Banana
Ingredients
- • 200 g Elephant foot yam cubed
- • 150 g Raw banana cubed
- • 50 g Grated coconut
- • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 100 ml Water
- • 1 tsp Coconut oil
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook yam and banana with turmeric and water for 2 whistles.

Blend coconut and cumin into a coarse paste.

Add paste to cooked vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes.

Drizzle coconut oil and stir well before serving.

Spiced Paneer Podimas
Ingredients
- • 200 g Paneer crumbled
- • 1 large Onion finely chopped
- • 2 Green chilies
- • 0.5 tsp Mustard seeds
- • 1 pinch Asafoetida
- • 5 Curry leaves
Cooking Steps

Heat pan, add mustard seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves.

Sauté onions and green chilies until translucent.

Add crumbled paneer and cook on high heat for 3 minutes.

Season with salt and toss until slightly golden.
