Kootu Curry (Kerala style)
Ingredients
- • 200 g Yam
- • 100 g Black chickpeas
- • 50 g Grated coconut
- • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 0.5 tsp Cumin seeds
- • 200 ml Water
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook yam and chickpeas with turmeric, salt, and water for three whistles.

Blend coconut and cumin to a coarse paste.

Add paste to cooked vegetables; simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
