Ingredients
- • 400 g paneer cubes
- • 200 ml yogurt
- • 1 tsp fennel powder
- • 0.5 tsp dry ginger powder
- • 1 tsp turmeric
- • 2 tbsp mustard oil
Cooking Steps

Whisk yogurt with fennel and ginger powder.

Lightly sear paneer in oil.

Add spice mix to pressure cooker with whisked yogurt.

Add paneer and pressure cook for 1 whistle.

Punjabi Dal Tadka with Raw Mango Zest
Ingredients
- • 200 g yellow moong dal
- • 50 g grated raw mango
- • 1 tsp cumin
- • 2 green chilies
- • 1 tbsp ghee
Cooking Steps

Boil dal in pressure cooker with water and turmeric for 15 minutes.

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin and chilies.

Stir in raw mango zest to mimic the Mavinkayi tartness.

Pour tadka over cooked dal.
