Karnataka Style Mavinkayi Chitranna (Raw Mango Rice)

Ingredients

  • 250 g Sona Masuri Rice
  • 100 g Grated Raw Mango
  • 2 tbsp Groundnuts
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Green Chilies

Cooking Steps

Pressure cook rice and spread on a plate to cool.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, groundnuts, and chilies.

Add turmeric and grated mango, sauté for 3 minutes.

Mix the tempered mango masala into the cooked rice thoroughly.

Andhra Style Mutton Vepudu (Dry Mutton Fry)

Ingredients

  • 300 g Mutton (boneless, minced small)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 sprig Curry Leaves

Cooking Steps

Pressure cook mutton with salt, turmeric, and 50ml water for 10 mins.

Heat oil, add curry leaves and ginger-garlic paste.

Add boiled mutton and spices.

Fry on high flame for 5-7 minutes until dry and charred.
