Karnataka Style Hesaru Bele (Green Moong) Chitranna
Ingredients
- • 200 g Cooked rice
- • 50 g Pre-soaked yellow moong dal
- • 20 ml Coconut oil
- • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- • 5 ml Lemon juice
- • 1 tsp Salt
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook moong dal with water for two whistles until soft.

Heat oil in a pan, add turmeric and cooked moong dal.

Toss in cooked rice and salt, mix well.

Add lemon juice before removing from heat.

Tamil Nadu Style Paneer Scramble (Paneer Podimas)
Ingredients
- • 200 g Grated fresh paneer
- • 30 g Finely chopped carrot
- • 10 ml Coconut oil
- • 1 pinch Mustard seeds
- • 1 pinch Asafoetida
- • 1 tsp Salt
Cooking Steps

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida.

Sauté chopped carrots until slightly tender.

Add grated paneer and salt, stir for three minutes.

Cook until paneer is dry and well combined.
