Goan Raw Mango and Coconut Curry

Ingredients

  • 200 g raw mango chopped
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 green chilies
  • 100 ml water

Cooking Steps

Blend coconut milk and green chilies into a smooth paste.

Pressure cook mango pieces with turmeric and water for 1 whistle.

Heat pan, temper mustard seeds, add mangoes, pour coconut milk, simmer for 5 mins.

Ingredients

  • 250 g prawns cleaned
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Cooking Steps

Marinate prawns with chili powder and tamarind paste.

Heat oil in a pan, sauté prawns until opaque.

Stir in grated coconut and cook for 3 minutes until dry.
