Dal Tadka
Ingredients
- • 200 g Yellow Split Lentils
- • 600 ml Water
- • 100 g Tomato
- • 50 g Onion
- • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- • 1 tsp Salt
- • 15 ml Ghee
Cooking Steps

Rinse lentils and add to pressure cooker with water, salt, and turmeric.

Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes until soft.

In a separate pan, heat ghee and temper cumin seeds, onions, and chopped tomatoes.

Mix the tempered spices into the cooked lentils and simmer for 5 minutes.
