Dal Palak (Spinach Lentil Stew)
Ingredients
- • 200 g Yellow Split Moong Dal
- • 300 g Spinach
- • 500 ml Water
- • 1 tbsp Ghee
- • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 1 tsp Salt
Cooking Steps

Wash the lentils thoroughly and place them in the pressure cooker with 500 ml water, turmeric, and salt.

Pressure cook for 3 whistles until soft.

Blanch the spinach and process in the blender until smooth.

Mix the spinach puree into the cooked lentils and simmer for 10 minutes.

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, and temper over the dal before serving.
