Dal Palak
Ingredients
- • 150 g Yellow Lentils (Toor Dal)
- • 200 g (2 bunches) Spinach
- • 500 ml Water
- • 1 tsp Turmeric
- • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- • 1 tbsp Ghee
- • 1 tsp Salt
Cooking Steps

Wash lentils thoroughly and add to the pressure cooker with water, turmeric, and salt.

Pressure cook for 3 whistles or until lentils are soft.

Blanch spinach and blend into a coarse paste.

Whisk the cooked lentils, stir in the spinach paste, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, and pour over the dal as a final tempering.
