Crab Masala Curry

Ingredients

  • 300 g Crab, cleaned and cut
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 100 ml Water
  • Fresh Coriander for garnish

Cooking Steps

Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until oil separates.

Add the cleaned crab pieces and mix well.

Add water, cover the pressure cooker, and cook for 2-3 whistles on medium heat.

Let the pressure release naturally. Add garam masala and mix.

Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
