Bengali Chicken Kosha
Ingredients
- • 500 g Chicken pieces
- • 100 g Onion finely chopped
- • 50 g Tomato puree
- • 2 tbsp Mustard oil
- • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- • 100 ml Water
Cooking Steps

Heat mustard oil in pressure cooker, sauté onions until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.

Add chicken and sear until color changes.

Add tomato, turmeric, chili powder, and salt; sauté for 5 minutes.

Add water, close lid, and cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.

Release pressure, sprinkle garam masala, and serve.
