Bengali Basanti Pulao

Ingredients

  • 200 g Gobindobhog rice
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 10 g raisins

Cooking Steps

Wash and soak rice for 10 minutes, then drain thoroughly.

Heat ghee in pressure cooker; sauté rice with turmeric.

Add water and raisins, cover, and cook for two whistles.
