Assamese Masor Tenga (Tomato Fish Curry)

Ingredients

  • 300 g Rohu fish
  • 100 g Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 ml Mustard oil
  • 1 pinch Fenugreek seeds

Cooking Steps

Fry fish with turmeric and salt in mustard oil.

Sauté fenugreek and chopped tomatoes in remaining oil.

Add water, simmer until soft, and add fried fish.
