Arbi (Colocasia) Varuval Roast

Ingredients

  • 400 g Colocasia root
  • 30 ml Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 g Curry leaves

Cooking Steps

Pressure cook colocasia for two whistles.

Peel skin and slice into thick rounds.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Toss in colocasia slices.

Add turmeric, chili powder, and salt.

Roast until crispy and golden brown.
