Andhra Kodi Vepudu (Spicy Chicken Fry)
Ingredients
- • 500 g Chicken thigh, boneless, cubed
- • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- • 1 sprig Curry leaves
- • 2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- • 1.5 tbsp Red chili powder
- • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- • 1 tsp Garam masala
- • 100 g Onion, finely chopped
Cooking Steps

Heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves until they splutter.

Add onions and ginger-garlic paste, sauté until golden brown.

Add chicken and sear on high heat for 5 minutes.

Lower heat, add spice powders and salt. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes.

Remove lid and fry on medium-high heat until the chicken is dry and coated in spice paste.
