Andhra Gongura Pappu (Tangy Sorrel Leaf Dal)
Ingredients
- • 100 g Toor Dal
- • 100 g Gongura leaves
- • 2 green chilies
- • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- • 300 ml water
- • 1 tsp mustard seeds
- • 1 tsp cumin seeds
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook dal, gongura, chilies, turmeric, and water for 3 whistles.

In the blender, pulse the cooked dal mixture briefly.

Temper with mustard and cumin seeds in oil, then stir into the dal.

Andhra Style Mutton Vepudu
Ingredients
- • 250 g Mutton (boneless cubes)
- • 1 tsp red chili powder
- • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- • 1 tsp curry leaves
- • 2 tbsp oil
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook mutton with ginger garlic paste and 50 ml water for 15 mins.

Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves and mutton.
