Aam Chana Masala
Ingredients
- • 250 g soaked chickpeas
- • 100 g grated raw mango
- • 2 tbsp mustard oil
- • 1 tsp cumin seeds
- • 1 tsp turmeric powder
- • 2 tsp coriander powder
- • 1 tsp red chili powder
- • 1 tsp garam masala
- • 250 ml water
Cooking Steps

Pressure cook chickpeas with water and salt for 4 whistles.

Heat oil in the cooker, add cumin seeds.

Add grated raw mango and sauté until soft.

Add turmeric, coriander, and chili powder; mix well.

Add cooked chickpeas and garam masala, simmer for 10 minutes until the gravy thickens.

Blend a small portion of the mixture to thicken the base if desired.
